What is Heal Home Care?

Heal Home Care is an organization involved in serving families who have their loved ones in need of professional care by the experienced and well-trained nurses in their own home.

Under What Situation can I approach Home Care?

  • If someone in your family is suffering from any kind of health related issues and chronic diseases like Cancer, Stroke, Alzheimer’s, Aging, etc. and need continuous assistance and care by professional nurses.
  • When you want your hospitalized family member to stay at home when staying in hospital is not that necessary but care and continuous assistance by experienced people is required.
  • If you are a busy person and there is no one to care for your elderly parent while they are in need of some care and assistance.
  • If you live outside Nepal and your loved ones in Nepal are in need of some assistance and guidance regarding their health, check-ups, and medicines and have health professionals to look after them.
  • If you want someone to be with the patient when you have to travel from Kathmandu to some other place/ country so that you can ensure your patient’s safety during travelling.

Do you provide service all over Nepal?

Currently, our area of operation is in Kathmandu Valley. But we have initiated our service to other parts of country as well. When proper availability of nurses could be ensured well at your place, the service could be provided.

What is the payment system?

The payment will be on the basis of number of shifts. We have 6 hrs, 12 hrs, 18 hrs and 24 hrs shift package.

What is the process to get the service?

You just need to call in the number 01-4444400 and give brief detail of patient and his/ her condition. Our Nursing Director will visit the place where patient will be, observe their condition, know about their illness/ problems and see doctor’s record (if any.) Looking into all the criteria, they will advise you the shift, materials that may require to you to take the patient at home. The nurses will then be sent to your home as per your mentioned time and schedule.

What sort of works are the nurses intended to perform?

Nurses are intended to perform following works as per the condition and requirement of patient;

  • Assistance in daily activities
  • Maintaining healthy environment around patient
  • NG- feeding
  • GA- feeding
  • Exercising
  • Mobility Assistance
  • Medication
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Ambulation

  • Accompaniment to doctor appointment

Is there any equipment or essential things that will be required for the patient to be cared at home?

The requirements will be based on the patient’s condition. If you do not have proper idea regarding what may be required, our nurses will take patient’s condition into consideration and make a note of required materials.

You’ll not need to take hassle of buying those products of your own. Just give us a call or inform our nurses regarding this. We’ll deliver all the required medicine, surgical instruments and other necessary materials at your convenient place.

How many nurses will be in a duty at one time and will they be changed frequently?

Normally, there will be one nurse for one shift. But since for long hours single nurse will find it difficult to work continuously, they will be changed as per shifts. Normally there will be 1 nurse for 6 hrs shift, 2 nurses for 12 hrs shift, 2-3 nurses for 18 hrs shift and 3 nurses for 24 hrs shift. Their duty will be monitored and managed by us.

What if the nurses in duty becomes absent during shift time on a particular day?

In case any assigned nurses fail to come in duty during assigned time due to some circumstances, we manage our other nurses for that duty at that particular day.

What will the overall service incorporate?

The overall service will cover following things;

  • Nursing service (shifts will be as per the need)
  • Regular follow up regarding patient’s condition and health
  • Take account of necessary materials that will be required for patient’s care and good health.
  • Deliver required materials to the patient’s home (as per your requirement and order)

How should the payment be done?

There will be certain deposit you’ll have to make when the service is started. This fee will be refundable when the service is discontinued. The regular service payment will be on monthly basis.  You can either deposit in Home Care Account, deposit it through cheque or cash.
