FIRST AID – Life Saving Procedure

2 minutes read . July 5, 2022

First aid refers to the emergency or immediate care you should provide when a person is injured or ill until full medical treatment is available. For minor conditions, first aid care may be enough. For serious problems, first aid care should be continued until more advanced care becomes available, first aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery. First aid is as easy as ABC – airway, breathing and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). In any situation, apply the DRSABCD Action Plan. DRSABCD stands for : Danger – always check the danger to you, any bystanders and then the injured or ill person.
